I love documenting a families journey and as a Salmon Arm Maternity Photographer, I was thrilled when Winnie and Rob contacted me announcing their second pregnancy.

I first met Winnie and Rob when they were expecting their adorable son Liam. We created beautiful maternity images for them at Kekhuli Bay. It was a much different day than our recent snowy session. Spring time with lots of wildflowers and a wild spring wind that made all laughingly say we felt like we were in Hawaii over looking the ocean.

I was then honoured when I got to capture newborn Liam, created his firstyear birthday images, had a fantastic Santa session and now we are awaiting the arrival of baby number two!

Winnie looks absolutely stunning in her gorgeous raspberry coloured gown. They don’t know if they are having a boy or a girl and we are all excited to see who is joinging their family. I think it is a girl.

The week preceeding their session was frightfully cold and snowy and we were so happy when we were able to go ahead with our session as planned and not have to postpone.

It was a perfect day. Not too cold and gorgeous light.

We chose Kal Park for the gorgeous trees, trails (no one wants to tromp through knee deep snow in a maternity dress!) and snowy fields. Little Liam was happy to join us for a few images too and I was so happy to document this soon to be family of four.

Thanks Winnie and Rob for entrusting me to capture all these exciting moments in your journey as a family. Can’t wait to meet your little bundle!
