It was a perfect fall day for this Kelowna Family Photographer to meet this gorgeous family!  I am always extremely honoured when a family travels to see me in Vernon.  They are trusting in my vision for their session, and in this particular case, I knew the perfect location for these gorgeous images.

It was later in the day, so the sun was starting to dip lower on the horizon so we could capture the sun turning the gorgeous yellow leaves into the fiery orbs that they were.  I love how dramatic they are.  Fall is such a gorgeous time of year to do family sessions!

Rain and Lennox are two of the sweetest little kiddos.  Rain absolutely adores her role of big sister and jumped at every chance I gave her to hold her little brother and pose with him.  I also loved working with her as she posed and danced her way through our session.  She is my sons’ age, six, and I love the independence kids start to show at that age.  Their personalities can really shine in a session.  She was definitely not shy in front of the camera!

Little Lennox managed to be in great, jovial spirits for his session too and it was only at the end, when his nap was calling, that he needed to have some quiet time with mom and he fell asleep nursing.  It was such a tender moment to see him drift of to sleep and that special bond a mom has with her little one while feeding.  Thanks for letting me capture that Chantelle.  They are a beautiful set of images.
