As a Vernon and Kelowna Maternity Photographer, I absolutely adore working with clients who were once my Vernon Wedding Photography clients.

I was thrilled to be John and Alicia’s Vernon Wedding Photographer when they got married at Turtle Mountain Winery here in Vernon in 2012.  Since then, I have stayed in touch with them via Facebook, and a few years ago, I  was also their friends’ Vernon Wedding Photographer so I got to see them when they were  attending that celebration.

I was thrilled when Alicia emailed me a month or so ago, announcing her and John were expecting baby two and would I be available to do a maternity session.  I was so excited to see them again and photograph their beautiful, growing family.

Their daughter Lilly, turned four in August and is excitedly awaiting the arrival of a new sibling.

We don’t know if there is a baby brother or baby sister coming, so it is all very exciting.

We got a dusting of snow the night before our session at Mission Creek Parkway.  It was a beautiful, sunny morning and everything was gleaming.

Alicia came with so many great outfit choices and I LOVED using one of my newest gowns, from Amy Corneau Couture as well.  Having Lilly wear a matching tutu; with my  grey ensemble from Taopan – Anna Brandt Gowns; was just the cutest!

Alicia was a total champ when it came to changing out in the cold.  And I know John thought it was totally hilarious.  Watching his wife strip down in Mission Creek Park was not something he knew was going to be happening!

I can not wait to see if a little boy or a little girl is joining this joyous family!  You are going to make a beautiful family of four!!!
