I am always so excited as a Kelowna Newborn Photographer when past clients contact me when they are expecting Baby Number 2.  I was thrilled to hear from them and excited to see how their little one, Amabel, now much bigger, had grown!

Welcomed into this world on August 1st after a very fast labour and delivery, little Marlayna weighed just over 6 pounds.  Big sister Amabel, came into the studio as the super awesome big sister.  She was SO patient with the number of images we wanted to capture.

Part of the story we wanted to capture was involving Kari’s fantastic mom.  For many months of her pregnancy, Kari was on bed rest.   Her mom, flew out all the way from Ontario to help Kari and Anders and of course Amabel was incredibly bonded to her.

Of course, we needed to take full advantage of grandma’s presence before she flew home, so we actually did little Marlee’s session a little sooner than I usually do to make sure this important person was a part of the session.

The last time I photographed Amabel, it was her wonderful Auntie who was here celebrating her birth, so I feel I have been fortunate enough to meet a number of Kari’s family.

I absolutely adore the image of Marlee and Mabel peacefully sleeping together, Marlee as a sweet angel, and the sweet little smile she gifted me with.  There is nothing more precious!

Thanks Kari and Anders for once again entrusting me to be your Kelowna Newborn Photographer.  It’s such an honour and a privilege to document your beautiful family once again.  You are truly blessed with two beautiful little girls!  Now I hope you can get some much deserved sleep!
