As a Kelowna Photographer who specializes in newborn photography, family photography and maternity photography, I absolutely love seeing one of my maternity couples once they have welcomed their beautiful little baby.

There is always so much emotion when I say goodbye to my maternity portraits clients, knowing the next time, I will be meeting their baby boy or girl.

With Kristyn and Darrin, we had had an amazing maternity session on Knox Mountain in Kelowna.  It was truly magical.  They introduced me to a new location and view and I was giddy to share their beautiful images with them.

Then, it was my turn to patiently wait till they announced the arrival of their baby.

I was thrilled to hear they had a baby girl on June 1st and they had given her the beautiful name, Evalynn Elizabeth.

It’s such an exciting time for the new parents.  Everything is a new adventure and I love how they look at their new little baby.

Little Evalynn came into the studio sound asleep from her drive from Kelowna and stayed that way much of our our 2 hour session.   She was absolute perfection to pose and work with.

Darrin & Kristyn are so in love with their little girl.  It oozes out of them and what a beautiful family they make.  A large portion of the portraits they chose, are the ones of the three of them.  It shows how much of a family they already are in such a short time. Family is everything to them now.

You make a beautiful family of three Darrin and Kristyn!  I look forward to seeing all of you again when little Evalynn is older!  I can’t wait to see how she has grown.
