As Kelowna photographers, with clients from all over the valley, I am always honoured when a family in Kelowna makes the drive to see me.  My families always tell me they love the drive to my studio at the Caetani Cultural Centre, as baby usually is lulled to sleep by the car ride and mom and dad get some quiet time to reflect on the new little person who has joined their family.

For this family, mom used to live in Vernon so was very familiar with the Caetani Cultural Centre and knew exactly where my studio was.  The house has quite the reputation in Vernon for not only being a specular looking heritage home but it also houses so many wonderful summer events including a summer concert series and the ever popular “Splash of Red” Art Auction every August. 

Handsome brother Frederick, who is almost two, was very much a part of this special family of four session.  Having been photographed when he was a newborn in Nanaimo by Little Ginger Photography, Frederick must have remembered some of his previous posing techniques as he was an absolute champ during his session with his new little brother. Many two years old don’t find the sibling pose something they want to do so I was SO pleased to see we could capture these beautiful images of him and his brother. He loves him so much!

Born a week before his due date, little Asher at 9 days young was an absolute champ to pose.  He loved being swaddled, and posed and dad was an amazing assistant to me!  Thanks for the extra set of hands Eric.  You have a new career as my personal baby posing assistant if you ever want it 😉

Eric and Vivien, you have a beautiful new son and the handsomest of big brothers for little Asher.
