As a Vernon Maternity Photographer, evening sessions don’t get any more perfect that this. Although there was a soft drizzle in the air, the lighting was oh so dreamy and it was a perfect change in temperature from the heat we’ve been experiencing.
Having first met the adorable Porter, when he announced his upgrade to big brother at our Santa sessions in November, I have been honoured to work with this family two times since then. Although Jill had already booked these maternity portraits when we first met, she also wanted to get some sweet portraits of him on his second birthday. She values photograph and an artists ability to freeze a moment in time. She knew although he would only be a few months older when we created their maternity portraits, she wanted to capture him just as he was at two. Both times I have worked with him, he has given me the sweetest smiles and I love his adventurous personality.
He’s going to be an expert for his sibling portrait by the time his baby brother or sister arrives. I can’t wait!
A huge thank you to my neighbours down the road Aaron and Shelley for allowing us to invade their yard. Driving by their long, gorgeous driveway with lilacs everywhere I just had to approach them and see if they were open to us working in their yard. I think Bryan fell in love with your property so if you’re ever in the market to sell, let him know 😉 It was a spectacular setting for this lovely family of three!
Jill and Bryan, you were a joy to work with. I can’t wait to see you again when there are four of you!
