As someone who loves creating Vernon newborn portraits, it was an immense joy to work with the beautiful little Juliet; or Jules as her family affectionately calls her.

I first met this wonderful family two years ago with the arrival of their little man Nate.  We created beautiful newborn portraits for him and then also did a one year session.  Now two years old, Nate is adjusting to life with a new sibling.  Although not keen to be photographed with just his new sister, he snuggled in with dad and mom to make sure we got some sweet family portraits.

 Nate was then very excited to get out of the studio and go to grandma and grandpa’s house so we could work with just little Juliet.

Jodi and James are clearly excited they have a little girl.  We loved dressing her in lots of fun girls colours and using some gorgeous new backdrops I just found.  I LOVE the floral one with her sweet little face!  I loved watching James gush over his little princess!

Juliet slept like a champ during her session and was a dream to pose!  She transitioned so smoothly from pose to pose and even rocked the difficult “froggy pose”

I was SO thrilled to hear that you had welcomed a little girl into your family, James and Jodi.  You make a beautiful family of four and I am so honoured you entrusted me to again capture your Vernon newborn portraits!  So much love and joy was present!  

Thanks so much for also entrusting me to photograph your extended family as well at our outdoor family session yesterday at Kekuli Bay.  It was so lovely to meet all your family as your celebrate grandma’s 90th birthday!  I will be posting them very soon!
