As an Okanagan Newborn Photographer, I am always honoured, when my newborn clients choose to drive over an hour and a half to see me to create their beautiful newborn portraits.

Hannah and Clayton (and their adorable dog Milo) live in Penticton and early on in their pregnancy, Hannah was excited to book her photographer.  After a few calls and emails back and forth, she confirmed she would like to book me for her maternity portraits and newborn portraits.  I knew that was a big commitment for her as they live over an hour and a half away.  I was honoured.

After she saw her Maternity Portraits, I received a lovely text from her “Your work is so beautiful!  I definitely chose the right photographer!  Worth the trip!”

We had created some beautiful maternity portraits (she had some great ideas of ideas she wanted to incorporate) and now we had to wait for the arrival of their little girl.

Little Sierra Sage was born at the end of November weighing 6.3 lbs. and 20” long and her adorable name matched her adorable little countenance.

For her newborn portraits, Hannah and some ideas she wanted to incorporate and little Sierra was a fantastic little sleeper for all the poses.  Even the more difficult “froggy” pose.  Thanks for the help Clayton!  My froggy pose always include an extra set of hands to make sure baby is always fully supported and he was a great help!

I love the variety we were able to achieve through the different props and ideas we incorporated.

Clayton, Hannah and Sierra, you make a beautiful family of three.  I am sure your first Christmas together was magical and your 2019 will be incredible!
