I love who I get to photograph as an Okanagan newborn photographer!  This time, it was one of my past wedding couples turn.  Lori and Bryce and their handsome new little addition, Cooper Thompson.

I met Lori and Bryce in 2015 when they had their gorgeous wedding and reception at Paddlewheel Park.  It was an incredible day filled with so much love from family and friends.  I still to this day remember Lori’s parents reaction when they saw their daughter dressed as a bride for the first time.  So many tears of happiness!

Fast forward two years.  I often see Lori at Nature’s Fare (where she works) and as I like to do, I wanted to see if she was in to say ‘hello’.  I was thrilled when I saw her that she was expecting and even more excited when she messaged me to ask about a newborn session!

Unfortunately daddy couldn’t make the session as he was working but Lori tells me he was secretly happy as  he was worried I would convince him to be in some photos!  I think he was a rockstar at his Wedding and he has nothing to be afraid of 🙂    In his place was Lori’s lovely sister.   She assisted with watching Cooper while on the bean bag (safety first when working with newborns) and would help keep those tiny hands and feet in place before I took the image.  Thanks for all the help; you were a pro at it Michelle!  We three ladies had lots of fun with Mr. Cooper.

Daddy is a huge Blue Jays fan so styling the handsome little man was a must.  After that, mommy just wanted to see him is blues and grays.

Cooper  is so lucky to have such a beautiful and caring mommy and daddy such as Lori and Bryce!
