As a Vernon and Salmon Arm Family Photographer, I am always honoured when past clients refer families to me.  It means the world to me that they love the family portraits I have created for them so much that they share the word with their friends!  I am also honoured when a family drives from Salmon Arm to see me so that I can capture their beautiful family.

Little Miss Raya has the sweetest disposition.  Mom had told me she is quite serious, so any smile we got was an added bonus, but she was so lovely to work with!  So easy going.  I am sure there were times her little 6 month old mind was thinking, why is this crazy lady putting me in a whicker chair and trying to make me laugh!  Mom says she doesn’t go outside very often, so with the wind we had the night of the session, she was very intrigued by it all!

Thankfully the weather cooperated at Kekhuli Bay.  Paven had gotten her makeup and hair done especially for our session so the dark clouds that appeared made us a bit nervous.  Postponing wasn’t an option.  We had a few times when we had to duck into cars to stay dry but each time, it only rained for a few minutes and then stopped!  The cloud cover was actually perfect for the gorgeous lighting we had!

Harj and Paven love their little girl to bits!  I love how Raya looks at mommy and daddy with such adoring eyes!

I look forward to working with you all again when we celebrate Raya’s one year birthday!
