As a Vernon Family Photographer, it doesn’t get much more fun than finally realizing your dream of doing Santa photos!  Years in the making and dreaming process, I was finally able to realize my dream of the joy and satisfaction of creating treasured memories for everyone who came and participated.  Santa’s cabin was a truly magical place for three days!

For most little ones, seeing Santa is an exciting and fun filled adventure.  Some came with cards, drawings and Christmas wish lists.  Some even came with cookies!  It was absolutely magical to see them chat and cuddle with the jolly man.

Some little ones however felt rather shy or even down right scared.  For most, we were able to gently win them over…but some, no matter how hard we tried….it was all just a little too much.

For some, getting a smiling image meant Santa took a break outside and  left for a few of the photos (don’t worry his feeling weren’t hurt!) and some, as long as they were on the wooden horse and distracted, they were happy.  Needless to say, we had an arsenal of tricks up our sleeves to help every child have a wonderful experience.  Even the animals who came along seemed to enjoy a good cuddle.

I couldn’t have wished for more wonderful clients.  A big thank you for everyone who came a great distance to see me (Kamloops, Salmon Arm, Kelowna & West Kelowna just to name a few) and entrusted me to capture these special moments.
