As a Vernon Family Photographer, I love working with families as they grew and change.  The Daniels Family is a family that I have photographed numerous time.  From Finn as a newborn and one year old, to the addition of his brother Grayson through his maternity photos, newborn session, one year old session and a family session just because the boys are so darn cute.  Last week, I was thrilled to finally meet all of Kim’s family as they amassed on Vernon for vacation and family time and to photograph them all together.

As Kim’s parents Dr. Steven and Joan Debella live near Ellison Provincal Park, we choose it for our first lovely back drop.  I hadn’t been there since I was a teenager.  Instantly the smell of dry pine trees  reminded me of why I loved it so much.  I think one of the last times I was there, I was being forced to march from Camp Hurlbert to Ellison in the middle of the night as all our camp counsellors thought it would be fun to wake us up with pots and pans!  Being there again, has made me determined to not wait another 20 years till I get there again.  I know my kids will love it!  We need to go camping there; or if that’s too ambitious, at least go swimming!

I got to meet all of Kim’s siblings, and their adorable children and we finished at Steve and Joan’s house for a few final family images.  For the last couple of years, my family and I have had the privilege of attending the Debella’s famous Easter Egg hunt which my family and I eagerly await for each year.  The Easter Bunny even makes an appearance.
