As a Vernon Family Photographer, there are few families I have known since I was in Pre-school.  I’ve known Grant, dad to the gorgeous kids, Emma and Jackson, since we were about 3 years old.  I have such strong memories of him and his family growing up-from playing in their barn and hayloft, to racing bikes up and down the street I still live on (yes, I live next door to my parents and the childhood home I grew up in!)

When Grant and his wife Cammie contacted me about celebrating his parents 50th Wedding Anniversary with a photo session, of course I was thrilled to see them all again.

Grant and Cammie live in Vancouver, and I was fortunate to photograph their beautiful last summer as well, but it’s been many years since I saw Mr. and Mrs. Clark.  It was definitely a trip down memory lane.

Little Jackson is such an active little man.  His favorite distraction during the session was a stick (what little boy doesn’t love one?) and I can’t believe how much he looks like his dad.  Spitting image!

Miss Emma, being a bit older, LOVES posing for the camera and I absolutely adore the ones of her in her grandpas car.  The fedoras were recently a gift from grandma and grandpa and I loved how they fit into the session. So cute!

Mr. Clark had one request.  A three generational image of him, his son and his grandson in front of one of his cars.  It’s great in any session to incorporate something of great significance to the family. This car holds many memories for the family and it was fun to fit it into the session.
