Vernon Family Photography is a passion of mine. I especially love when clients work with me as their family grows and moves onto new and exciting adventures.

For this beautiful family, I first met Cleo and Jaret when they were expecting their first son Malcolm. We did both a maternity and newborn session and  now four years later, Malcolm is an inquisitive and charming little man!  My biggest fear was he was going to be too exhuberent and fall into the creek before all the photos were finished.  If any mom could handle some wet clothes in a family session however, I know Cleo would be fine.  She’s one of those super cool moms who loves life and all that comes her way.

Baby Jamie, although not so much a baby as he is a big boy-18 months old, is following in his big brothers footsteps as another bold adventurer.  It was so fun to see him exploring this new environment with lots of wonder.  Everything, even the photographers stool, is a super fun prop to explore and move around, rather than sit on ☺

Thank goodness the trunk was a bit too heavy to move off the path and it was rather fun to sit on!

We also had two other beautiful people join us for the session which was super special.  Both Emma, Cleo’s sister, and Forest, Jaret’s son were visiting and I am so thankful they could join us.

The next big adventure for this gorgeous family is planning their June wedding next summer at Paddlewheel park.

It’s going to be one amazing party to be a part of and I can’t wait to see how gorgeous Cleo looks in her dress.  You are a lucky man Jaret!
