The gorgeous Ashley was so much fun to work with this for this Vernon Maternity Photographer!

I knew she was going to be pretty laid back at their session when she texted me the morning of the session to say they had just gotten out of the hospital.  Their adorable son Linden, had sadly hit his head on the coffee table that morning and wound up needing stitches.  The poor little guy!  I felt so bad for him, but after his afternoon nap, mom thought he was doing pretty good…and as she said, having the stitches visible for the photos, was a memory.  Oh the life of a mom with a boy!  I also found out Ashley is a nurse, so stitches aren’t something too squeamish for her.  She’s actually taking them out for him when they are ready!

The day of our session was a bit windy, but we had already postponed the session one day because of a rain, so the sun was a welcomed guest.  Especially at the end of November!  The weather has been so lovely compared to most Novembers.

Matt, Ashley and handsome little Linden make the cutest little family.  SO much love and happiness present and it was so much fun working with them.  I absolutely adore the images of Ashley and Matt too; snuggling.  Such a sweet couple!

Ashley, Matt and Linden. I am absolutely thrilled for you and can not wait to meet your newest little man. You are so blessed! Thanks for making the hike up Turtle Mountain so fun-even with all the barrel cactus that chose to join us! Seriously. I have never seen so many unwanted guests attached to my shoes!
