As a Kelowna and Vernon Maternity Photographer, I try not to play favorites, but I have to say, this family, is one of them.  They are our wonderful neighbours across the street and we are SO excited they will be welcoming a little boy very soon.  I grew up on our little street, and my family and I  currently live about 150 ft from my parents home.  We are blessed to live in such an amazing neighborhood, but for many years, all the children who used to live on our tiny dead end road moved away.  It was pretty quiet around here.  Slowly but surely, the children have returned and this little man will be the third boy on the street.  As much as he loves playing “princesses” with all the girls in the neighbourhood, our son couldn’t be more excited there is going to be a little boy to soon play with!

It’s hard to believe their beautiful daughter Amelia, will be three this summer.  She is from one of my first few years as a newborn photographer and I also did Peter and Carlie’s maternity session for her too.  Carlie looks stunning pregnant and I am so happy she always chooses to capture such a beautiful time in her life.  I am also so thankful she trusted me to capture her in the snow, with very little to wear!  It’s rather fitting since we’ve gotten more snow this year than most and had our first “snow day” in 35 years.  This little man is going to love winter!

We are so excited for this gorgeous family of three, to become four.  There is so much love already for this little man!
