I have just recently gotten to know Jaime, (her daughter and my son go the same  preschool-Creekside Montessori) and I was so happy I got to be her Vernon Maternity Photographer!

My first impression of  Jaime (apart from her gorgeous looks) is that she exudes a beautiful, warm energy.  She is bubbly, vivacious and full of life.

When she opens up and starts talking about the past year however, she somehow manages to maintain that sweet, inviting smile and quite honestly…I don’t know how she does it. No one should have to endure what she, her husband Corey, and their two beautiful daughters have gone through.  It has been a year full of tragedy and loss.  How any of them have managed to keep a beautiful smile on their face is a true testament to their character and positive outlook on life.  It is to be admired.

I couldn’t think of anything better than photographing the new life they are about to welcome and the hope and joy he will bring.  Both Corey and Jaime are film makers and I know how important capturing this stage of life is to them.

And so it is with a humble heart that I present to them some of the images from Jaime’s session.  I am so very grateful I am able to share this exciting journey with them; and hopefully bring a little bit of sunshine into their lives.

I can’t wait to hear that this beautiful family of four, has a new little peanut to adore and cuddle.  I am so VERY excited to meet him!  You are so loved already little man!
