I always feel so honoured when past clients hire me as the Vernon Maternity Photographer for their family or friends.  In my opinion, gifting a family or friend with a newborn session or maternity session is one of the sweetest shower or newborn gifts around.  Maybe a session isn’t something they have considered before, or maybe don’t have the funds at the time….because let’s face it;  getting ready for a baby can be costly.  But who needs to receive 100 onsies at a baby shower?  I know I would have been thrilled to receive a session!

Kim is the sister of one of my dear clients and neighbors and so when she and her husband announced they were expecting, Carlie and her mom new exactly what they wanted to gift them with.  Both a maternity and newborn session.  Carlie told me Kim had the cutest, most perfect bump and she would look gorgeous showing it off.  She wasn’t kidding.  Kim you look absolutely stunning!

Some dads aren’t sure if they want to be involved in the maternity photography process.  After all, it’s the moms who look so gorgeous; no need to add dad to the mix.   Kyal felt this way but  I am so glad he was politely convinced to join her for a few.  He and Kim are so sweet together and I believe they will be images they can look back on in a few years and smile over.

Kim and Kyal, I can’t wait to meet your little man and capture more images for your happy home!
