This gorgeous family is newer to the Vernon area and upon trying to find a newborn and Vernon Maternity Photographer; Tracy asked her mom and dad if they new of any.  Luckily I know Tracy’s mom and dad through my parents hot rod club and they referred her to me.  She admitted she was rather nervous to check out my work as Tracy and her husband Trevor, had their last maternity session done by the incredible Alli of Glow Portraits in Fort St. John.  She sets the bar rather high!

Needless to say, I was a little nervous to follow her footsteps, but my portfolio passed the test and the rest is history 😉

This time of year, it’s also rather difficult to know whether the weather will cooperate and to find a location that doesn’t look too bleak and drab.  Luckily, the beautiful willows had just started to turn colour and they made a gorgeous backdrop for Tracy’s adorable bump.  We also loved using the wonderful boardwalk down along the BX creek.  I have only ever used it once before but I must keep it in my arsenal of locations as it was a beautiful location!

Sister Isabel LOVED being in front of the camera.  She was so photogenic and loved hamming it up for all of us. She is very excited she is going to have a baby brother.  I can’t wait to do a siblings image with her and babe when he arrives.  She will be a pro at it!

This family can’t wait to welcome baby boy into their family mid April and I can’t wait to photograph them all again very soon!
