As a photographer who specializes in Newborn and Vernon Maternity Photography, it is an absolute joy when I meet someone as kind hearted as Karly. Karly first contacted me a few months ago asking about the possibility of doing a two part maternity session, and of course newborn portraits.
Her husband, Liam is currently away and with her due date near the end of the month, she was worried if she waited till he arrived, and baby came early, they wouldn’t have any maternity portraits of her in all her cute baby belly glory.
I wanted to make sure we made it possible for Liam to also be in some portraits (so don’t come early baby-daddy is coming home any day now) so we created these beautiful portraits of Karly last week and we will be creating their couple portraits very soon.
Karly looked radiant in the two gowns we chose and I gasped when I saw her first get out of her vehicle. Look at that gorgeous hair she has!
She made sure to get herself pampered at the Just for You Spa here in Vernon before our session and I loved the beautiful, yet subtle, hair and makeup they created for her.
Karly is one of those joyous clients who exudes kindness. She was so sweet to talk to on the phone before our session and I knew she would be a lovely client to work with. She was so trusting of our process together and I am so pleased to present her with such gorgeous portraits as a result of our hard work.
At this time of year, I love using Kalamalka Park. With no snow and no leaves, it still still makes a stunning backdrop and she bravely endured the cold to show case her beautiful belly.
Liam and Karly don’t know if they are expecting a little boy or girl and I can’t wait to hear the joyous news that he or she has arrived.
I look forward to working with you again Karly!!!!
