Earlier this week, this Vernon Newborn Photographer posted about Ainsley and her families outdoor session. Today, I am highlighting her newborn session in the studio. As you may have read, dad, couldn’t make it to her studio session, and as I was getting worried she was getting a bit older (and less likely to pose as easily as a newborn) we decided to do her session in two parts. One in the studio and one a week later outdoors. It’s amazing how even a week, can make the difference in the success of a newborn session.
*For those of you wondering, I like to have my newborn sessions done (if at all possible) under two weeks. I have had lots of success with up to a three weeks, but after that babes become a lot more alert and less likely to feel super comfortable and limber in all those adorable newborn poses.
Ainsley’s studio session was so fun. First, I got to find out that her dad was a friend of mine from way back. We grew up attending the same church and being in the same church choir plus in later years, working together at the Vernon Army Camp during one of our summers off from University. I also loved having a little girl in the studio again, after my run of boys. As cute as little boy outfits are, I’ve been buying a lot more little girl ones lately and it was so fun to play dress up and use them 🙂
Big sister Simone wasn’t so sure she wanted to have her image taken with baby sister but enjoyed looking around and watching her sister be the model for the day. I am so happy she loved our outdoor session much better!
Joel and Alana. You have a beautiful family and I am so happy for this beautiful new family of four.
