As a Vernon Newborn Photographer there are always interesting stories on how I met my clients.  With Kelsey and Rich, the parents of the handsome Jameson and beautiful Brynn; I didn’t know it at the time they booked me for their newborn portraits, but I graduated with Rich many years ago!   We both attended Vernon Secondary School.   It was so nice getting caught up and reconnecting while we photographed his beautiful children.

The second connection we had was that I found they are neighbours to a dear friend of mine; Dr. Kim Daniel.  Kim delivered both my babes and also delivered little Jameson.  She is an incredible Obstetrician and both Kelsey and I would highly recommend her.

Born a few weeks early, little Jameson was a lovely Christmas surprise for his parents.  It was also really nice that with all the family and friends gathered for Christmas, they all got a baby snuggle too.

Choosing our props and colour pallets based on his nursery colours and organics, we had some great outfits to choose from.  Jameson’s nursery has an anchor theme and I was thrilled that I had a new little boys outfit that had anchors on it!  It was meant to be.  He was so cute in it too!  Jameson, was an absolute little gem to photograph.  He slept, took his soother if he needed between poses and allowed me to mold him.

His big sister Brynn, being a little older than some siblings I work with, wanted to be with her brother and loved giving me big smiles.  She was a natural in front of my camera

Kelsey and Rich, your family is beautiful and you make a gorgeous family of four!  I am so happy for you!
