As a Vernon Maternity Photographer and Vernon Newborn Photographer I get the opportunity to meet lots of family in the final month before babe’s arrival. I LOVE working with families for both type of session as a strong relationship is built and I too anxiously await baby’s arrival.
Lori and Chris knew they were having a boy, named William, so when little Will was born happy and healthy I too was super excited to meet him.
When we met for their maternity session in Kalamalka Park the month prior, Chris had told me he wasn’t really a fan of having his picture taken. I knew then, my mission was to convert him to someone who at least could admit he looked darn good in them and pose again for me when Will arrived. Thankfully Lori and him loved their maternity images, and even though he tried to back out of some family images, Lori and I wouldn’t let him. I told him years from now, he would be super upset with himself if he didn’t have any of him and his new family. I am super happy we got some as I love capturing new families!
Will was an absolute rock star in his session. He even let Chris and I play and get him into the “Froggy Position” for a super cute composite. (YES, that is important to know it is a composite and dad’s hands have been removed from the final image. Will was fully supported and held at all times).
I am so thrilled for this beautiful new family of three. Congratulations Chris and Lori! Please give your man a big hug for me!
