As a Vernon Newborn Photographer, I hear a lot of families stories, but none have moved me as much as the Onofrey family.  Some of you may have read a little about this courageous family when I photographed Jaime’s maternity session.  I feel honoured that I got to help write a new joyous chapter to their story when we photographed the newest member to join their family.  Although I can’t divulge his name (it’s going to be announced at a naming ceremony very soon) I think it suits him perfectly.  Mom and dad say he helped confirm it with a smile 🙂

Prior to this past September, the Onofrey family was living everyone’s dream life.  Both Corey and Jaime were videographers in the sunny and gorgeous Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Then, September 14th, hurricane Odile hit and the family lost everything.  They came back to Vernon for family support and they are slowly growing roots in this area.  Their two girls are going to Creekside Montessori (the AMAZING school where my son goes and how I met them) and the birth of their little man is definitely helping the family open a new exciting chapter.

One of the losses the family mourned the most after Odile struck, was the destruction of their family pictures.  I knew it was super important to get this gorgeous family new images for their walls, and it couldn’t be for a more a joyous occasion.  The birth of  their little boy!

Congratulations Jaime and Corey on the birth of your precious little boy.  Your family of five is absolutely perfect and one of the most gorgeous looking families I have photographed!
