Vernon Newborn Photography is my passion.  There is nothing more exciting than going into the studio to meet a new family and their precious little man.  I go into the studio knowing what colour schemes the family would like, have a number of outfits, wraps and props set out that the family can choose from based on their own vision, and then it’s up to me and their little bundle to create some magic.

Erica and I spoke on the phone a day after she emailed me, asking for more information about my collections and availability.  I learned that she had a little boy who was about three weeks old and his name was Jack!  I was so excited because, other than my own son, I’ve never photographed another Jack.

Luckily, due to a date change of another newborn session I had booked, I had an opening  for two days later and Erica and Andrew were able to bring him in to the studio.

Being three weeks old, he was already starting to be less “squishy” but he did an amazing job.  I didn’t even have to swaddle him for most of his images which was very much in line with Erica and Andrew’s vision for his session.  Very minimalistic.  No outfits, only wraps and then lots of adorable details.

Erica and Andrew are also rather new to Vernon, and originally from Newfoundland, they don’t have any family in the area so they were very excited to have these darling images of their little man to share with friends and family who live so far away.

He is such a loved little man.  Congratulations Andrew and Erica.  You make a beautiful family of three!
