As a Vernon Photographer, I love when I get a client enquiry that asks about gifting a family or friend with a newborn session. It demonstrates a desire to find a really unique gift for the expecting couple and surprise them with someone that maybe they haven’t considered yet. It’s such a memorable gift!
I mean, getting some really cute onesies at a baby shower is super fun, but receiving a newborn portrait session as a gift at a baby shower is creating a lifetime memory. These beautiful newborn portraits forever capture the cutest little smile, lick of hair, tiny little eyelash. They freeze time when your new baby came into your life and nothing will ever be the same. Your heart has grown three times.
John and Nicole, clearly knew what an amazing baby gift little Thomas’ newborn session was and even added additional portraits to their gift because they loved so many portraits.
I loved getting to know their little family a bit better through our session. I loved hearing how they met, that John is from Greece (THE most amazing country I have ever been to!) and daydreaming when we can all go there. Seriously my husband and I can’t wait to strap back backs on our kids and go. Island hoping in Greece is so much fun and such an easy adventure.
Little Thomas was such a champ at his session and allowed me to pose him so effortlessly. I mean how cute is in that little sleeper hat?
John and Nicole, you make a beautiful family of three and I am honoured to have photographed your sweet little boy. It was a pleasure meeting you and creating some heirloom memories.
