Dad’s schedule took him away for work right after little Preston was born and so I was so thankful we were able to find a session date that worked before he left!
Mom, Amanda, really wanted to have a sibling portrait taken of older brother Wyatt and his new little brother. When the older sibling is still rather young himself, I always mention to the mom and dad before hand, that we will do our best to capture such a memorable portrait. HOWEVER, when working with children, we hold onto this hope lightly because it doesn’t always happen. The older sibling is always happier to be in family portraits, but when asked to lay on the floor with a new baby, we always hold our breath and hope for the best.
Thankfully with Wyatt, he totally rocked it. He was such a delight to work with and took his role of big brother very seriously. I am so happy we were able to capture such sweet portraits of them for mom and dad!
With a nod to dad’s career in fire fighting and forestry, I love that we incorporated my gorgeous wooden wreath into our set ups and I absolutely adore his little suspenders!
I can’t wait to see how big you are at your 6 month portrait session Preston! I know you are going to be a major cutie. Just like your brother!
What a beautiful family of four you all make and I am so thankful you entrusted me to capture this beautiful time in your families life.
