Vernon Photographer

As a Vernon Photographer, who absolutes loves creating magical portraits of children, family and newborns; not working with my clients these past two months has been very difficult.

I have missed client interactions, the planning, the creating and the excitement that comes with revealing what we created.

I was absolutely thrilled when Work Safe B.C. called to say (after I had sent them an email asking for specific guidelines for working with newborns) that I could again start seeing newborn clients. And in my studio too

I immediately started contacting all my clients to schedule all of those who had delivered during the past two and a half months. It took a little fancy scheduling and flexibility on their part as I want to be extra cautious about the time in between families in the studio. Currently, there is a minimum of two days between each set of families.

Miss Sawyer & her big brother Everett, were one of those first families to be scheduled. Thankfully they didn’t have a long drive to the studio as they live in Armstrong. Miss Sawyer was very much aware of her surroundings and wasn’t the squishy newborns I typically see. At over 6 weeks old, it took a lot of encouragement for her to sleep and curl up but our persistence paid off!

Sawyer did an amazing job too! He is a fantastic, inquisitive little man who loves his baby sister very much. Even after we were done their sibling pose, he was looking for ways to be near her and get in more portraits. Good job Everett!

Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful family with me. I am so honoured to have captured this beautiful phase in your families life.
