Vernon Photographer

There are so many wonderful ways in which I meet new families working as a Vernon Photographer.

For this amazing couple, I first met them at a lovely wedding I photographed in August through my wedding photography company; Wedded Bliss Photography

Dan and Carley were the best man and maid of honour at Jeff & Kayla’s wedding and being weeks away from welcoming their baby girl, I mentioned to them that I was also a newborn photographer.

I loved working with them that day in August and knew it would be so fun to work with them again, when their baby girl arrived.

Little did I know, until they were in my studio with baby Amelia, how connected we truly were.

At some point during our session, we started talking about family and I found out that I knew Carley’s dad! Back in Grade 7, I had the best teacher I could ever have imagined and my best friend was in Carley’s dads class! Our two teachers loved having our two classes do everything together (including an epic camping trip) and I will ever forget those memories. He was such an amazing teacher, and now to photograph Mr. Young’s grand daughter was so special!

Miss Amelia was an absolute rock star during her session! She seriously couldn’t have posed or been soothed any better. She transitioned into everything we did so effortlessly. It was a dream session!

Dan affectionately calls her his little pork chop and I loved her little dimples and hair!

Carley loves Tinkerbell and a client of hers (she is an amazing hair stylist….follow her at the Color Room) and a friend of hers gave her the sweet little wings and tutu we used for the final portrait.

You make a gorgeous family of three!

Isn’t it crazy how we seem to find connections with those around us even though we’ve never met!? Such a beautiful story and an adorable baby girl, Amelia!ReplyCancel
