As a Vernon Photographer, I love meeting new clients!

I first met Kristen last August at a Charity auction held at the Caetani Centre where I have my studio for Baby Bliss Photography.

A “Splash of Red” is an annual event to raise money for the Caetani Centre and its’ mission to promote art throughout the Okanagan.  My husband is the auctioneer each year and we always look forward to the amazing art that is auctioned off and the incredible dinner!

Kristen purchased a family session that I donated to the cause and I was so thrilled that I finally got to meet her family for their portrait session.

The weather was a gorgeous overcast sky and we had perfect lighting.

The fall colours haven’t quite popped yet in many parts of Vernon.  Usually the colours are more advanced this time in October but I think the extra hot and dry summer have stunted them a bit.

Thankfully one of my favorite locations for fall portraits have started it’s beautiful transformation.  It always amazes me with it’s beautiful display of color.  I also absolutely love the gorgeous views of Okanagan Lake.

Kristen and her husband Billy have two adorable children.  Ronan is 4 and an absolute firecracker to photograph and Maia is 7.  We discovered through the course of our session that Maia is actually in my sons Rhythmic Gymnastics class so I loved making that connection.

Kristen is one of the physicians at Paradigm Naturopathic clinic here in Vernon so I was also able to create some beautiful headshots for her practice too.

There was so much love and joy present at our session. It translated so effortlessly into my portraits.
