As a Vernon Photographer, I really love getting to know other Vernon residents.  Dad is a postal worker (so now I have someone to wave at if I see him delivering mail) and mom, until maternity leave, worked at Nature’s Fare Market (one of my favorite places to get groceries).  I also love how central my studio is to many residents in Vernon.  This beautiful family lives very close to my studio at the Caetani Cultural Centre and it was a perfect distance to walk home when dad and older brother Zack were done their portion of the session.  After all, a big brother still needs his naps too!

And little Zack was an absolute champ posing with his new little brother.  It’s always difficult to predict how an older sibling will pose with their new brother or sister (especially when they themselves are quite young) but he flashed his pearly whites, gave us some fantastic giggles and I was able to capture exactly what we were all hoping for.  A beautiful sibling portrait!  I love how happy, proud and yet protective he looks in his photos.   He is taking his role of big brother, very seriously!

There was so much love and joy present at Logan’s newborn session.  You can see it in mom and dads eyes.   There is something magical about being parents to two boys.  You know their family life is going to be filled with lots of wrestling matches, loud giggles, worn out knees, and cars but there will be so much boisterous joy.

Mike, Jenny and Zack; you make an lovely family of four and I am so happy for your recent addition!  You’ve got one handsome little man and I am honoured you choose me to photograph you during this exciting time in your families life.
