It was a perfect fall day for this Vernon Photographer to work once again with this gorgeous family!  I am always extremely honoured when a family hires me and my vision to capture their beautiful children as they grow.  They are trusting in my vision for their session, and in this particular case, I knew the perfect location for these gorgeous images.  Sovereign Park on beautiful Kal Lake.  Being from Lake Country, this was a close drive for the family and a perfect location to meet at.  Rain, who is in Grade 3 at Okanagan Waldorf School

It was later in the day, so the sun was starting to dip lower on the horizon so we could capture the sun turning the gorgeous yellow leaves into the fiery orbs that they were.  I love how dramatic they are.  Fall is such a gorgeous time of year to do family sessions!

Rain and Lennox are two of the sweetest little kiddos.  Rain absolutely adores her role of big sister and jumped at every chance I gave her to hold her little brother and pose with him.  I also loved working with her as she posed and danced her way through our session.  She is my sons’ age, eight, and I love the independence kids start to show at that age.  Their personalities can really shine in a session.  She was definitely not shy in front of the camera!

Lennox managed to be in great, jovial spirits for his session too and it was only at the end, when his bed was calling, that he needed to have some quiet time and some sushi for dinner 🙂

You have a beautiful, loving family Chantelle and Gary and it was an honour to capture your joyous little family once again!
