As a Vernon photographer I LOVE celebrating the arrival of newborn baby girl with clients I have previously worked with.

I first met Catherine & Mitch through a family portrait session that was organized by previous newborn clients of mine.   Jodi and James  had worked with me a number of times (I am always so honoured when clients come to me time and time again) and after the arrival of baby number two for them (a darling little girl named Juliet) they not only created beautiful newborn portraits of her, but got the whole family together out at Kekhuli Bay for extended family portraits

Mitch is James’ brother, so after I had worked with him and Catherine  a little bit they told me they were expecting in seven months. 

A few weeks ago, Catherine emailed me saying little Isabelle was here and they would love to schedule a newborn session for her.

I was thrilled to see them again and oh my goodness, little Isabelle is SO cute!!!  I gasped when I took her hat off and saw all that black hair!  It makes me smile just looking at these adorable portraits.  And that smile….what a cutie!

She was an absolute rock star when it came to posing.  She took a little while to fall asleep in our first set up, but the swaddling and warm studio soon put her bed for almost the whole session.

Mitch and Catherine are so in love with their little girl.  It oozes out of them and what a beautiful family they make
