As a Vernon Photographer who specializes in Maternity Portraits and Newborn Portraits I love working with clients who are also good acquaintances. It is so memorable to take families that I know from outside photography, and work with them to I create memorable family portraits.

Stephanie & Tyler are an amazing couple who pour their hearts and souls into the young peoples ministry at Emmanuel Baptist Church. They are so joyous, giving and energetic to be around and since getting to know them and their adorable children, I wanted to gift them with a special maternity session.

Expecting their third little one (a girl!!!) in early June, we wanted to capture this exciting time in their families life.

Amelia (who is starting Kindergarten this coming September at B.X. Elementary) is going to be a great big sister to help mom and dad out! Although her and her brother Eli, like any sibling pair, have their moments of disagreement, they love each other whole heartedly and were more than happy to pose together.

Kal Park was particularly beautiful the night we were there and while not having their portraits taken, Amelia and Eli loved exploring all the great outdoors. All the great sticks lying around were particularly enticing to Eli. Amelia made sure to stay clear of him least she get bonked on the head!

Tyler and Stephanie, I can’t wait to meet your little girl! I know she will make your beautiful family even more beautiful (if that’s possible!) and expand the love you have in your hearts.

When Tyler and Stephanie drove off, it hit me that the next time we are all together; they will have welcomed their girl.  It is such an emotional, exhilarating and joyous moment.
