As a Vernon Photographer who absolutely adores capturing Newborn Portraits of fresh little babes, nothing is more lovely than having clients in the studio that I know.

Big sister Natalie attends my children school. She is in my daughters class and as I am the music teacher there. Although I left teaching after nine years to get my degree in photography (and have no intention of going back to teaching), I love working in the school on Monday mornings. Bringing students the gift of music is so much fun and rewarding. My children attend a really great, smaller, private school (Pleasant Valley Christian Academy) so we know all the families which is so wonderful. We are always so excited when a family has a new baby!

When mom Jennifer asked if we could work together I was SO excited. This is the first time they had created newborn portraits and the first time for a professional family portrait. I was so honoured to create some heirloom portraits for them!

Little Adelyn has the sweetest cheeks and slept like a champ through our time together. I love the soft colours and florals mom chose for her from the extensive props and clothing collection I have at the studio.

Big brother Conner was a little unsure of portraits but we were so proud of him when he allowed us to place him in some! I absolutely adore the sibling portrait! Look how he cuddled up to big sister! That was all his posing and it points to him finding security in Natalie presence. I know it’s a family portrait mom and dad will cherish a lifetime.
