Vernon Photographers can specialize in many types of photography. I have always been drawn to people as a beautiful subject matter and love creating portraits of them that can be used for their own self promotion. Headshots can be a valuable tool for any self employed person who are looking for an updated portrait of themselves, launching a new product on their own website, business cards or album covers. The possibilities are quite endless.

A successful headshot tells you who someone is by conveying a subject’s attitude, character, and personality. It is quite often an hour session and the entire time is not necessarily spent in front of the camera. Often is getting to know the person better so that their true personality comes out in their portrait. There are often outfit changes too so the client will then have a few different styles and looks from their time with me so that they can use the different looks for many different things. It can often mean changing to another nearby location so you also have a different background. Each clothing change and location change can really change the feel and intent of your portraits so it’s a great option to do so.

Talking to your Vernon Photographer before a session is also really important so you can discuss the clothing you are thinking of and what type of location they want to use. Communication is key before a session so it can all the time working together can be focussed on capturing those great portraits
