As a Kelowna Family Photographer I can truly say all the stars aligned for this beautiful families photo session.  Rikki, a professional photographer herself in Calgary, first contacted me a few months ago when she knew she, her mom Brenda and her two daughters, Ziara and Kyra would be in Kelowna for a vacation.  We talked about a few different locations, ideas for the session and I was beyond thrilled when she decided to rent  the rustic picnic set from Vintage Origami to add as some decor for the session.  After she sent me some photos of the outfits they were going to be wearing, I knew I also had to throw in some of my own stuff.  The gorgeous pillows I got in Turkey a few years ago and children’s tea set.  The tea set, and vintage camera that Yuriko put in the collection were great fun for the girls!  It kept them super happy even though it was such a hot evening up on the stunning Knox Mountain.

As I mentioned, Rikki is the talented photographer behind Rikki Mae Photography in Calgary.  I was a little nervous to photograph another photographers family but she was so warm and inviting from the minute that we met (not to mention gorgeous) that all nerves quickly disappeared and I have to say it is one of my favorite sessions to date!  I think you will agree her daughters are some of the cutest I have ever photographed!  They take after their momma in the good looks department 🙂
