As a Kelowna Photographer who specializes in newborn photography, family photography and maternity photography, I absolutely love meeting a new couple and their beautiful little baby.

It’s such an exciting time for the new parents.  Everything is a new adventure and I love how they look at their new little baby.

Little Emma came into the studio a little ball of energy.  She really didn’t like the poses I had for her for about the first 45 mins.  I think mom and dad were a little worried she wouldn’t settle in, but as I joking told Kelsey and Andy, I “always get my way”.

Once she settled into our routine, we were able to move along quite quickly; although she never wanted to take a soother for me….so Andy’s finger was sucked on much of the session :). Thank goodness for an obliging dad!  I told him if he ever wanted a job as my newborn assistant, he was hired!

I am so honoured they came to see me and I was able to capture this beautiful time in their families life.  Thanks to my clients, Vivien and Eric for referring them to me.  I photographed their handsome newborn son Asher; along with his big brother Frederick, in June of this past year.  I am always honoured when past clients tell their friends and family about me.  It means the world.

You make a beautiful family of three Andy and Kelsey!  I look forward to seeing all of you again when little Emma is one year old!  I can’t wait to see how she has grown.
