I love who I get to photograph as an Okanagan newborn photographer! This time, it was the sister to one of my dear friends, who came all the way from Ladysmith to have her session. Talk about feeling honoured to have clients who will travel such lengths!

Jen and I have known each other throughout the years through work. We both used to work for Park West Gallery and have kept in touch on facebook.

Her sister, Tara and I, have managed to see each other much more frequently. When Tara was expecting two years ago I was fortunate to do her maternity photos in Victoria and newborn photos for which she traveled to my studio for. Then, just last March, we were able to see each other in Palm Springs and do family portraits for one another. It was on that trip to Palm Springs, that I got to see Jen again. She was able to join us for a pool day and it was there that I learned she was expecting. That day, she asked me if I could photograph her upcoming arrival and I excitedly said yes!

Now, this past month, I got to meet her newest handsome man. Here in the Okanagan to attend her sister Danika’s Wedding (who I also was blessed to photograph-an amazing Wedding you must see on my other site, Wedded Bliss Photography), we were able to meet in my Vernon studio to photograph handsome little Beckett and big brother Grayson.

Almost a month old, Beckett put all my fears to rest and slept like a champ! What an amazing little poser!

Big brother Grayson couldn’t stop kissing him and wanted to be in as many photos as possible.

Jen, you have a beautiful family! Such a blessing to have added another handsome little man to your tribe.

Beckett is so lucky to have such a beautiful and caring mommy such as you!
