As a Kelowna & Vernon Maternity Photographer, even while on vacation, I am constantly noticing and admiring beautiful, glowing mommas and Nazareth was no exception.

My family and I are currently in the South of Spain, on the beautiful Meditterean ocean.  Of course we  are loving every minute!  We are in a small town called Los Alcazares and it, and the small towns around it, are famous for the fact that they are along the coast line of the beautiful and tranquil Mar Menor bay and peninsula. The Med. flows into the Mar Menor and  it means we are not being bombarded by the usually high waves or tides…just beautifully warm and calm water.  Which is fabulous for this mom who is constantly on the vigil of her two kiddos safety, ages five and two!   It makes for a much more relaxing beach day….which we are having a lot of!

One day last week, I saw beautiful Nazareth on the beach rocking out a bikini with her gorgeous belly and couldn’t stop but talk to her.  I wasn’t sure if she would even speak English (as my Spanish is sadly rather bad) but thankfully she spoke some English and funnily enough, was staying in our hotel.  She and her husband Pablo were staying at the resort for a week and after telling her what I did for a living, we decided we must do a maternity session together.

I immediately started scouting out nearby spots and within a 5 minute walk of our hotel, we had tonnes of options.  It was lots of fun also chatting to her and Pablo about what life is like in Spain, especially for families (or expecting ones like they are).  The evening of our session, we were blessed with beautiful light, a few waves and of course the gorgeous Spanish scenary.

I am so thankful you shared your time with me Nazareth and Pablo and can’t wait to hear when little Pablo is born.
