I am so very lucky to live next to an old growth apple orchard. They are not very common anymore as more and more orchards move towards newer varieties and trees that can picked without ladders.
These old growth apple orchards are so fragrant and over flow with blossoms. They really are a very magical location and it’s why so many clients contact me and want to be on my apple blossom portrait list.
The blossom season started a bit earlier this year, and so with already scheduled clients for one year birthday portraits and newborn portraits; it worked perfectly with getting these already scheduled clients into the orchard as well as all the other families that were waiting for their date to be in the orchard. It was also over a weekend, that I was meeting one of my wedding clients for the first time and we created their beautiful Engagement Portraits. So needless to say, it was a really exciting few days capturing so many clients and so many different ages.
We even had two VERY obedient dogs who belong to the very amazing dog trainer we have been seeing with our 8 month old puppy. Monique, the owner of the Ruff Life not only brought her beautiful family but her two search and rescue dogs, Rogue and Ember. It was so awesome to have two so very well trained dogs, to be able to jump into lots of different portrait set ups.
I was also able to see some clients I only see once or twice a year for portraits, and to see how their babies are growing up is so fun.
Thank you to everyone who came out to the apple blossoms portraits! It was so wonderful working with all of you!
