As a Vernon Photographer, there is something very special about working with the same family year after year.  They are not only entrusting you to capture their beautiful families as they grow, but there is a bond that develops.  You are seeing friends, who you may or may not have bumped into over the year….and it’s so fun to get caught up.

This beautiful family has entrusted me to capture their family as they first moved to Vernon and settled into their new home.  We then worked together as a Vernon Maternity Photographer, Vernon Newborn Photographer and a Vernon Family Photographer.  This was the first time however that grandma and grandpa honoured us their presence for some priceless images with their grandsons!

For this special session, the Martyn Family purchased one of my Vernon Family sessions to help Maven Lane, one of the charities I donated to this past year.  It’s great to know children’s programs, such as Maven Lane exist to allow children to have fun and experience hands on learning in an environment that respects and nurtures children at their pace and development.

I get to see Dionne and Coby for piano lessons once a week through our fantastic music teacher, Danuta and Music for Young Children. We hadn’t seen each other all summer so it was lots of fun to get caught up on all their fun summer travels and adventures.

See you tomorrow for our first piano lesson of the year!  Hard to believe we are back to school and summer is over.  Thankfully we have beautiful images like these ones to remind us of the warm summer evenings and beautiful lakes we live by.  We are truly blessed to call the Okanagan Valley home.
